Documentary Photography
Nina’s first documentary photography exhibition was held at Gallery Camera Obscura, an international gallery run by Lars Hall in Stockholm, in 1981. Nina’s photography has been influenced by her peers and teachers Christer Strömholm and Anders Petersen, as well as international artists such as Edouard Boubat, Sally Mann, Imogen Cunningham, Dorothea Lange, and Ruth Orkin. She was previously a partner of the photo agency Bildhuset along with fellow artists such as Tuija Lindström, David Smoliansky and Gunnar Smoliansky. Her archive contains more than 20,000 photos.
